Dear Fellow Cartoonist
The Association of East African Cartoonists is
organising an international cartoon
exhibition entitled "The WOT?" which will focus on the
ongoing Global War on Terror
(GWOT). We are appealing to cartoonists worldwide to
send us their impressions of
how this war is being conducted by governments all
over the world (including, but
not only, the USA). The aim of the exhibition will be
to highlight and explore the
differing opinions that many people have on the GWOT
and to contribute to a
meaningful debate about it.
Submitted cartoons will be published online on a
special blog that will be set up
once the entries start being received. They will also
be exhibited in Nairobi,
Kenya.

RULES:
Participation is open to all
Please note that submitted originals will not be
returned.
All cartoons submitted via email should be in JPEG
format with a resolution of at
least 300 DPI.
Cartoons submitted via post should be no less than A4
size (210X297mm) and no larger
than A3 (297X420mm)
Cartoons may be either Black & White or Coloured
Submitted cartoons will be published online and
exhibited at a venue in Nairobi,
Kenya. Details on these will be communicated at a
later date.
The deadline for submitting artworks is 31st May,
2007.
