Since you have two different names, Prince OLIVERA HAMAD BELGORE a.k.a. Usman Galadari(PRINCE), I'm a little bit confused how to address you; which one is the right name and title.
I don't live in Texas; my travel and flying time will be added two more days round trip. The time I'll spend during this trip will be twelve days and more than just five hours per day.
Each day is considered as a full day (up to eight hours); if more than eight hours per day (usually happens in this type of open ended travel and shopping spree) the extra time will be counted as extra hours, time and a half. Weekend is not included, but if you need me during the weekend it will be calculated as time and a half. The travel expenses such as the ailine tickets and and other ground transportation from home to the airport and from the airport to the hotel should be calculated and paid in advance. At this moment I do not know how much for the hotel room for myself. If yur protocol can inform me, it might be useful. I would like to receive money in advance for 12 nights hotel payment and pay the hotel myself.
As an interpreter, I regretfully also would like to correct your inappropriate and unfortunate use of the word "feeding". The word "feeding" implied you feed the cattles or other kinds of animals or you may use it to feed the baby. I know and respect your nobility, but I don't like that word being used to me or in our respectul profession and in our business communication. The usual standard practice being used in business for this type of budgeting terminology is the word "per diem".
As your higher status of nobility and richness you have, the Prince (Prince OLIVERA HAMAD BELGORE) or the PRINCE (Usman Galadari(PRINCE)) your offer of "3,000 dollars" for the whole trip of twelve days is much, much too low and not acceptable. The business establishments dealing with me have paid me much more than your offer. You should exceed those. Would you please revise and reconsider the highest offer you can compensate me for this special occasion and match it accordingly to high status of Ghanian nobility and the rich Gulf Conglomerate name you have?
Regarding your payment, I only take the official International Money Order paid in advance and I should receive it before my departure to Houston, Texas. Let's make sure that the payment is in the USD (US Dollar) not in any other kinds of dollars or currencies. The GHC (Ghanian Cedi) might be interesting and I have never seen any, but regretfully I cannot take it... :). No personal check and no credit card, please.
For your information, I will be away from my email for Tuesday and Wednesday Dec 21 and 22, 2004 for a special interpreting assignment and wouldn't be able to read email before Thursday (Dec 24, 2004) morning.
