Here is the job description for the core senior java engineer position.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience with systems development
- Combined hands-on/architect-level postion.
- Responsible for server-side technical leadership on
a team developing enterprise financial planning and
analytic applications.
- Expert Java programmer. Comfortable with advanced
Java idioms.
Nice-to-Have skills:
- Very strong knowledge of relational databases,
transaction management, and database performance.
Proven Experience with Oracle, SQLServer, and ideally
DB2
- Strong Experience with Hibernate and OR Mapping
concepts
- Experience mentoring and providing technical
leadership to a team - including defining coding and
test practices
- Experience working with offshore and remote teams
