Hi Dinesh,
1) You can add a resource file to a project by dragging a .rsrc file from
Explorer into the project window.
2) You can run a Palm app by either installing onto POSE and launching it
from the App launcher, or by using the CW debugger to download it to POSE
and then launching it.
3) These are the project stationeries, which are the templates for the
various flavors of Palm programs. We don't have any library stationeries
right now, so u can use any one of them. Check out the 'Targeting Palm
OS.pdf' doc for more information on the difference between them.
BTW, if you are new to Palm programming you may want to take a look at this:
a) go through the 21-step tutorial provided by Palm on the R5 CD. It's in
CodeWarrior Examples/Palm OS Tutorial. This one will give you a good
overview of a basic Palm program.
b) there is a 'Hello World' example at www.palmpower.com , May 98 issue
which may also be helpful
c) recommended: get a copy of 'Palm Programming' by Neil Rhodes and Julie
McKeehan, published by O'Reilly. This is a very handy book.
d) check out also Palm's SDK documentation, which is on the R5 CD as well as
on their website. It has lots of info on the guidelines for a Palm app
(which is different from a normal Windows app, BTW), SDK functions, etc.
Hope this helps.
