I am using a palm3 with OS3.0 and using applications Multi Mail Pro and Proxie Web and Palm Ping with the palm modem. I am successfully connecting to our company lan via direct modem dial in. When connected I can connect to the outside world with Ping or Multi Mail or Proxie web through the firewall, but cannot connect too or successfully ping any the NT4.0 mail server running Microsoft Exchange 5.5 or any other computer on the LAN Palm Ping returns "Host not found" and Multi Mail times out and says "POP3 Server does not respond. The mail server shows that the palm is connected to the LAN and a IP address has been assigned. All protocols on the server have been set to allow connection with any device and also Multi Mail. I am using IP addresses rather than domain names in the network setup panel and on Multi mail. Can anybody help with this problem
