Cancel button in Japanese OS

   I'm trying to translate some strings into a Japanese version of
an app, but my "Cancel" string is much wider than the button.  I took
a magnifying glass to the official OS "Cancel" and it seems like it's
the same string but it's a much more tightly spaced version of it.
 Does anyone know where Palm got this string?  And how can I use it as
well?
