Thanks for the response and the insight.

Just wonder why CW5 boilerplates AbtShowAbout, in the first place.

Also, I do have "Palm Programming: The Developer's Guide".
Glossed thru it (as I do with all programming documentation ;-)
and just jumped into the fire.
BUT, I will check out the page you specifed.
