Christian,
I've experienced this same problem in the non-patch R5 IDE. Sometimes, if
I'm lucky, I can go into the bookmark dropdown and delete all the bogus
markers. Usually, I only really have one bookmark, but when the problem
occurs, I end up with hundreds of the same bookmark repeated over and over
and over. It is really annoying having to kill the whole IDE just to get
back use of my machine. I found that in order to get rid of the problem I
had to go into the windows(winnt in my case)\Metrowerks subdirectory and
delete the "CodeWarrior Pro 4 IDE Prefs" file. Of course, after doing this I
also had to reconfigure everything in CW. Another silly solution was to just
rename your project directory, then CW won't associate the problem file with
the old bookmarks because it probably uses full path names.
Good Luck! (I'm kind'a glad to hear that it isn't just my setup that has
this problem).

Subject: CodeWarrior: how to delete markers
Where are the markers for a file saved? I have this one file for which I
created some markers but now when I click on the marker button CodeWarrior
uses close to 100% cpu and seems to just hang there - I have to kill from
the task manager. Adding markers for other files in my project works fine.
So I want to delete any "marker file" and start from scratch.
Also, good job on that CW update, seems to fix a lot of minor annoyances
with the editor.
Chris
