Yes, I believe Network HotSync can do this for you. Network HotSync allows
connection through a desktop PC, or through any established TCP/IP
connection. You just need to connect the Palm device to a PPP server of
some sort (either an ISP or your own UNIX box) via a modem or direct
serial link, and use the built-in Network TCP/IP connection. Network
HotSync will operate over this link.
