What's "SMP"? If you mean a multi-processor machine, this problem has been
noted two or three times before, either here or on

Subject: POSE & SMP Error
FYI :
Just discovered that POSE 2.1d26 doesn't like SMPs.
On a Dual Pentium 200, running NT Workstation 4.0 SP 4, or NT Server 4.0 SP
4, it shows up a delinquent behaviour, giving out random errors (Ex . App
accessing low mem,etc).
Changing processor afinity, through NT Task Manager, so that only one
processor runs POSE, turns everything OK back again.
