It's known and reported. You have to set it by hand.

Subject: Bug in FrmHideObject()?

Hi all-

I am working on something in which I wanted to toggle a bitmap which is
drawn under a control programatically, and I found that FrmHideObject()
seemed erase the object, but not set the USABLE attr to FALSE as one would
expect (and is in the 3.0 DOCS). FrmShowObject(), from looking at the
sources, DOES set the object's attr.usable to TRUE, but FrmHideObject()
DOESN'T set the attr.usable to FALSE.

Is this a know bug, or do I need to officially report it somewhere, or am I
mistunderstanding the USE of these functions.

Thanks,

Alan Pinstein
