Bob & John, As Bob pointed out, I was in error in saying that I was getting a '0' return. I was actually getting a != 0. This is one function that needs much better documentation. Doesn't it also skip secret records? So, I will try to use an offset of 1 if "in category" or 0 if "out of category". Thanks for the help. Bryan Nystrom Natara Software, Inc.
