Wise, I heard, causes some problems (?) The InstallShield is neat but I
have just started playing with it. The biggest problem is time - write a
script that works with InstallShield to do this stuff...

I thought there were already plenty of 3rd party installation managers out
there. InstallShield and Wise come to mind. I'm not there yet, but I was
planning to use one of those if and when I develop a viable app. If you
want totally, or nearly totally, no-brainer installations, I don't think a
simple script is going to do it. At least not in the Windows world.
