Questions about menu's and find

Hi,
I am losing my menu's whenever I click the find button. After I close the find
dialog and then press the menu button. Nothing happens. Is there a special event
that comes around after a find that indicates I need to reload my menu's? I have
tried examining the events that do come acorss and don't see anything
particular.
