(Now that we have beaten the ellipsis character to death...) I need to support the Euro currency symbol. This character is not present in any current ROM font (including 3.1), though its future position at 0x80 is known. For now I'll need to write code to draw the Euro as a bitmap (ugh!) and eventually switch to treating it as a character when running on organizers with a character set that includes it. (At least this seems like an obvious solution, but suggestions are welcome.) So here are a couple questions for Palm: 1. What future OS or encodings will contain the Euro? 2. Can you give out today the bitmap of the actual Euro character as it will appear in each of the fonts? If I have to use a bitmap resource to draw the Euro for now, I'd prefer to make it exactly match how it will look in the character set later on -- width, pixels, etc. 3. Am I totally missing something obvious here? :-) -- Scott Johnson Oracle Corp.
