I wouldn't recommend powering anything through the PP serial port. It could
kill the batteries rather fast, plus some of the logic levels on the control
lines are not exactly 'legal' but they do work. You can connect any RS232
compatible device to the Palm by using the PP serial/modem cable or the
hotsync cable (or cradle).

I want to connect this device to the serial port of the palm, but I don't
know if it is electrically possible. Indeed, the device need some power to
work (this power was supplied by the serial port of the PC).
Can the serial port of the palm supply this little device with
electricity, as the
