What is the best way to handle a variable length app preference record when the schema changes between versions? I see that prefSetAppPreferences takes the application version number, but I see no way of getting that back from prefGetAppPreferences. I'm not bothered by the "how-to" convert, but the "when-to" convert. Thanks Bryan Nystrom Natara Software, Inc.
