Waba isn't really an environment the way CW is. Waba is more of a mini
language based on Java. You use Java tools (such as VisualCafe, OR
Codewarrior Java) and you use the Waba class libraries instead of the Java
class libraries.

You're comparing Apples and oranges.

Waba allows you to write once and run on multiple platforms just like Java
(which is what it really is). You then pass the Java thru a conversion app
that converts it into Waba bytecodes.

CW is an IDE that lets you code in Java, Palm, c, C++, Pascal, OOC, etc.
Waba is just another language to CW. You can use CW to write Waba modules.

One other difference is that CW doesn't require a runtime-module which is
what the Waba VM is.

Subject: Waba vs. CodeWarrior

Anyone use the Waba VM and Waba SDK?
(www.wabasoft.com). Just curious as to how it
compares with the CodeWarrior development environment.
Waba claims you can write once(any Java tool like
VisualCafe), run anywhere (Palm, CE, Web applet).
