I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing here, but the
brand identity disc is available for free as well. The guidelines.pdf
file on the CD contains a ton of examples.

IMO It's a bunch of grammatical tomfoolery to appease the legal
beagles who are ostensibly protecting Palm's trademark. (Maybe I'm
being a little cynical, but reading through that style document will
make a cynic out of anyone.)
Try: "Use HotSync(R) technology to send the records to your Palm
Computing(R) platform device."
Or: "Send the records to your Palm V(TM), Palm IIIx(TM), Palm
III(TM) or PalmPilot connected organizer using HotSync(R) technology."
