I'm a Mac user planning on beginning to develop for Palm OS. I've looked at
the options out there (including running GCC on top of Virtual PC) and have
decided to go with the environment that I might have a chance of figuring
out before the century is up.
My question is this:
Should I pick up CodeWarrior now, or wait until the next big revision?
Looking at when the previous and current versions came out, it looks like a
new version might (?) be coming along reasonably soon. Since I'm allowed
only a single upgrade, I don't want to take the plunge and then find out
that my upgrade is right around the corner.
I guess "around the corner" to me means "within a month or two"... Anything
less than that and I'd still be getting my sea legs when the new version
came out, which would be sort of disheartening, "I haven't even figured it
out yet..."
Since I haven't invested any time, money, or effort in it yet, it's no big
deal to wait if that seems prudent.
Anybody know? Any semi-official rumors out there?
