Does this mean that using IR with non-Palm devices is supported or will be
supported in the future? I believe there are serious interoperability
issues when using IR to non-Palm devices, not at the application layer
but at the IrDA protocol layers. Mentioning on this list something about
talking to PC's over IR is very interesting to someone with a vision of
IR appliances everywhere, communicating seamlessly.
