This is what we talked about before. Your application must know about the
scanner in order to take scanned input. The only ways to get someone else's
application to recognize the scanner are
(a) get the source code, add scanner hooks, and recompile, or
(b) write a Hack, an idea which occurred to me last week. You might want to
give this a shot.
If neither works (and I doubt you'll get ProxiWeb's source), you'll have to
write your own browser.
