While we're on the subject, when one releases a new version of software,
with new preferences, is there any way to ensure (short of adding code to
the app) that the old preferences will be retained? E.G., by leaving the
app prefs structure the same but only ADDING new items at the end? Or are
the old prefs automatically deleted if a call to GetPrefs determines that
the size of the call doesn't correspond to the size of the stored prefs?
