You can't use 1.2 or 1.1.8
The latest version of Java that will work successfully with the jsync.dll
is jdk1.1.7b.

Step one: Down load the JRE1.1.7B from the javasoft website.

Step two: Install it.

Step three: Look in <drive letter>:Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.1

Step four: Copy the bin\ and lib\ directories you find there into your  
<Palm directory>/JSync/rt/ directory.  In fact, rename the rt directory to
"rt113" or something & make a NEW rt directory, droping the bin & lib
directories from the JRE into it.

Step five: There is no step five.. that should do it.
