Is there a free output pin on the processor, or better yet, a free output pin that goes to the serial connector that is available in the Palm III? I see that pin 9 on the serial connector is unused (http://www.palm.com/devzone/hdk/images/cradle.gif). Is this pin an output that can be controlled in software by manipulating the bits of an output port register? I am writing a one-off app that is specific to the Palm III, so I'm not concerned with portability. Any help would be appreciated! -- Todd L.
