David Williams announced a tool to read/write pdb files last week on here. I
haven't tried it but I think it is quite a bit more compact than using the
pilot-link library.

I've experimented with using Perl and found it to be pretty easy to build pdb
files. I don't have a tool like David's though. If you want to know the
file layout check out these pages. Of course RoadCoders has just invalidated
all of my bookmarks, but here you go..
