I have a question (of course...):

I've been using POSE (and GCC) quite successfully for a while now and
I'm quite happy with the setup (except for debugging, but that's another
message). Version details are: Windows 95 and POSE v2.1d25.

When right-clicking on POSE (for the menu) and selecting the "install
application / database", I normally get a list of MRU files. Well,
this list seems to grow and grow and grow... Some of the file names
(with paths) are quite long and make the list annoying. Also, I happen
to have many file names that are somewhat similar.

So... I decided to go into the registry and remove some of the names
manually. I did so, and the list now comes up empty, which is exactly
what I wanted. Unfortunately, the list *stays* empty. So I figured
that something about the MRU registry entries were inconsistent. So
next, I removed all entries from the HKEY_USERS and HKEY_CURRENT_USER
for the 3com entry. The emulator comes up as a new program (not remembering
anything about screen location or other options). However, the MRU
list continues to stay empty!

Yes, I know that I broke something. Yes, I know that messing with
the registry can break (sometimes lots of) things. I've been quite
successful in the past, but not this time. I searched for "3com" "emulator"
and "prc" to find relevant entries.

Does anyone know what else I need to remove from the registry to make
the emulator think it's running for the very first time on a machine,
and resume the normal MRU behavior?

Thanks in advance,

Dave.
