I would like to point out that 3Com made the PVII ROMs available to all of
us months ago, and with POSE you can develop PQA's. Frankly, it's faster to
develop PQA's on POSE rather than a PVII since the internet connection is
faster and you don't have to transfer the PQA's to the unit each time.
But it'd still have been nice if PVII's were available through developer
connection as originally planned.
