Metrowerks,

Could you consider using the standard versioning system? That is, Major,
Minor, Fix, Build? I find your system confusing. For example, I just now
had to decide whether I needed: "CW for Palm OS R5 Patch 1 update" or "CW
for Palm OS R5 Patch 1." I almost downloaded the Patch 1 update (sounds
like "This is an update to OS R5, and it is a patch"). It would be simpler
and clearer to have versions 5.1.0 and 5.1.1.

A few companies (including Microsoft) seem to be moving away from a
perfectly reasonable system of version numbering.

And don't forget to put version information in the About box. As
unbelievable as it sounds, the about box of the IDE does not tell me that I
have CW for Palm OS R5. Is there any way for me to know other than looking
at the CD? After I apply the patch, how will I know what version I have?

Thanks,
