It could be event flow, with a new form drawing before and old one has been
really erased.
It could also be a "saved bitmap" problem, where the OS is restoring saved
data that was under an area (like the command indicator) that has become
stale. (Use MenuEraseStatus before redrawing to solve this last problem.)
Given the description above, it's hard to say more. A picture or two would
greatly help, as would posting relevant code snippets.
