I am unable to debug my Palm application.
I recently updated my system to Mac OS 8.5.1. Now I cannot seem to run the
debugger. I've tried various versions of the Emulator and the direct device
connection. The system hangs after the transfer.
At other times, CodeWarrior unexpectedly quits with a "Type 2 error".
The Emulator, d24 in this case, will run an old version of the application
which was built with R4 and an older Mac OS, but won't run the new build.
I reinstalled Codewarrior for Palm release 5 and ran the patch. That did
not help. I created a new Palm OS project and CodeWarrior unexpectedly quit
again.
I need to get this app built. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The
obvious one, go back to a previous version of the Mac OS, is not an option
(have you ever tried to back out a system update?)
