Hi all! We have a vertical application that we ship to customers as a complete hardware/software package (pre-installed on Palm hardware). Currently, we allow our users to upgrade their software by syncing with our internal server via a modem (which is also included in the package). However, we are moving into a market where it will be common for users to upgrade using a cradle and the desktop software. Could anyone (perhaps some of you Palm guys) provide us with statistics on the percentage of users who have trouble configuring comm ports or making the cradle work and, as a result, call tech support.
