I had this problem too. That was why I started using FldDelete and
FldInsert to begin with. I might switch back and try your suggestion. I
was also looking at InsSetEnabled to solve the vanishing cursor problem.

cases, the cursor disappeared and I couldn't get it to re-appear on the

I'm not sure about the focus problem, but I may be able to help with the
vanishing cursor.
Apply FrmSetFocus() on a different field, then reapply to the field you
really
want. I've had this happen to me and this kludge seems to work.
