I built the standard "Starter App" and it ran fine and more importantly,
reset fine when killed from inside CodeWarrior. Which suggests it's my code
that's at fault. No surprises there. Yet if it is a problem with "not
tidying up", I can't find it anywhere. If I am leaving, say, memory
allocated with MemPtrNew lying around, does the Palm OS not free it when the
application quits? Or is this just another newbie misconception? And how
could it effectively hang a system?

And I've just noticed that my code seems to be disabling the network and
exchange libraries. Viewing the "Network" category of the Preferences app.
produces a dialog box captioned "Network Error" - the text says "The Network
Library is not available". Likewise, "Beam Receive" can't be enabled, trying
to beam data produces a dialog box captioned "Exchange" with text that reads
"There are no exchange libraries available".

What on earth could I be doing that's effecting everything so badly?

Sigh. Thanks for the continuing help.

Paul.
