I am using VC++ 5.0 and CodeWarrior 2.0. ( I found CodeWarrior 2.1 was
worse as in editing the resources).
MY PROBLEM
My client wishes to collect data using a number of handhelds (Palm III).
Then at the end of day, he plans to collect the data from all handhelds
to his own Palm III device using Infra Red link (similar to BEAMing an
application). While beaming, the database records should get appended for
each user in his own Palm Pilot and then he can hotsync his Palm with PC.
I have written the Palm application as well as the hotsync conduit. My
problem is the InfraRed part of programming. How should I proceed with
writing the Infrared link and data transfer between my application on two
handheld devices. I could not find any sample application which performs
such functionality. I know such an operation is very much possible,
because a similar functionality is there in Beam menu item of Memo Pad
application whereas it is not there in Memopad tutorial.
If anyone can help me, please do. I am stuck here with not further clues.
If possible send me a reference to the sample application.
