AFAIK the only device which doesn't share the serial port for IR are
upgraded Pilot 1000 / 5000 / Pro's with the IR Port on the expansion slot.
(BTW, there is  room for a 3rd serial port on the expansion PCB, too...
although the 5V<->12V level converter components are not on the PCB).
