What the Docs don't say is that PrefGetAppPreferences returns the
version number.
Second, why not just use 1 as the version number instead of 1.2. I
would think that most developers consider 1.2 as other than a major
upgrade. An upgrade that changes the DB structure probably is a
major upgrade (or could be).
What's the concensus on this?
