  true.. very true.. :P

at least make some effort for them to HAVE to patch..
(only the wannabe's will patch - using the utilities).

but when a regCode program (nice gui etc) comes out,
then they are reaching a larger market.

buggy software is a big no no.. you are the author..
you get blamed.. i dont really thin you would want
  that reputation?

  word gets out fast too..

your "cracks" dont work.. they go elsewhere.. :((

there is nothing we can do to stop hackers.. all software
developers need to accept that.. making it harder for them
is just as much as a challenge as they see cracking it.

if they take longer to crack it.. i will feel a LOT better.
:P - but they can always NOP the code.. simply jump
over the registration calls, and set that boolean to
  TRUE in memory..

they get the kick out of finding the part of code to do that..

the question is.. is it worth the time to develop these
"great" schemes - or should you put the effort into bringing
  more software to the PalmOS..

i am taking the second.. i spent my 6 hours today making it
harder.. not much more we can do.
