Okay. I think we can agree on a few things:
1. Crackers are ego-driven scourges of humanity who would be best shot on
sight.
2. Stopping crackers is really, really hard. But it can be done, if only
for a while.
3. There are all sorts of fascinating techniques and approaches to stop
crackers, ranging from the technically brilliant to the relatively
sociopathic.
4. Some Palm Developers Forum members care passionately about this.
5. Other Palm Developers Forum members care slightly about this.
6. Yet another subset of the Palm Developers members could not give a rat's
ass.

Speaking for the last group, I would beg you to please stop all cracking
related threads on this forum. Those of you who care at all about this
might think about starting another mailing list (egroups.com and
onelist.com both offer *free* hosting of mailing lists) to discuss how you
will pursue crackers to the end of the earth and make them beg for mercy.
Feel free to post the results of these discussions.
