i assume that since Palm IIIx and Palm V have the same OS (3.1), that the same code is in each machine. If this assumption is correct, is it possible to call the software contrast dialog with the IIIx as you can with the V ? if i could call the contrast control dialog in the IIIx, would the hardware respond to the new contrast settings? basically, it would be nice to use the contrast dialog on the IIIx as opposed to the contrast wheel on the back of the unit. is it possible? thanks pete
