Sounds like your app is doing something bad when called with the
sysAppLaunchCmdSyncNotify launch code. Check for accidental global or
static variable usage in PilotMain outside of the handling of
sysAppLaunchCmdNormalLaunch.

You mean the system Prefs? That could cause your app to get launch
codes sysAppLaunchCmdTimeChange or sysAppLaunchCmdCountryChange which
have the same restriction about not using global/static variables.
