I stand corrected that there is an event returned, but we agree it isn't
particularly useful.
FrmUpdateForm (receivingFormID, updateCode) is better. As a refinement, you
can define your own update codes:
enum myAppEventCodes
{
nilEventCode = 0,
updateDate,
updateTime,
updateAll
};
and have your receiving form behave accordingly. It's not general, but it
does hint at context.
Agreed that it is difficult to pass context around and that globals are
necessary, but that's the nature of an event driven system.
