It did help eventually thanks. For other people who may want to get this
stuff onto their Windows machines please note the following:
1) The original URL in JK Lam's message and the one in my message have both
been corrupted (by the mail system I assume). The last part of the URL below
should be Documentation/MPW_etc.
2) The file will expand with the stuffit expander from Aladdin, but NOT with
WinZip.
3) It creates many files. The documentation is in a file called "Bldg & Mng
Progs In MPW 2Ed" (I think, I haven't read it yet). This file has no
extension. It is a PDF file. Use Adobe acrobat to view it. If you try to
open it with notepad it will say that it is too big and run WordPad. WordPad
will hang.
