hi!
this is something that has been plaguing me for a long
time. what exactly is the difference between the Palm
Personal and the Palm Pilot?
i have a BETA tester that owns a Palm Personal, and
he gets the following messsage when he runs all my
applications:
"DataMgr.c, Line: 1572, Err opening DB"
the interesting problem is as follows..
the ONLY database i use.. is the preferences data
structure..
and i get it as follows:
flag = PrefGetAppPreferences(crID,apID,&prefs,&prefSize,TRUE);
is there something about the Personal devices that does
not like the preferences?
this is a BIG problem. the programs work fine on ANYTHING
over (and including) Palm Pilot.
has any other developers had these problems? i will search
the docs now..
