Beaming pdbs with an application

Hi,

Is there an easy way to set something in my application to tell the OS that
certain pdb data files should automatically get beamed with it whenever a
user selects the app for beaming from the launcher menu.

If there isn't, then what is the recommended way of doing this?  Would I
have to write my own beam-me option in the app itself?
