Tool for interface development

Hi,
I am new to application development on the Palm and have been trying to create
interfaces similar to the standard Palm applications like 'To Do' and
'Telephone'.
However, it seems that the controls provided by satellite forms are not designed
for this purpose. Is code warrior the   only alternative in such a case? If
anyone can share similar experience(s), it will be very useful.
