Unfortunately Palm R5 and Pro 5 cannot be merged due to the differences in
the components. Merging for Palm R5 is only supported for Pro 4 and Pro 3.
The best setup in this case would be to install both into separate
directories. However, you will run into a problem when debugging as well in
this setup. The problem is because of the difference in the versions of
Metronub required by Pro 5 vs. that required by Palm R5. The current
solution is to maintain copies of both Metronubs and swap them out from the
System Folder as required. I apologize for the inconvenience, I know that
this solution is not ideal. We are trying to get beta components of Palm R6
out and they should offer at least a temporary workaround.
