The four Palm OS fonts used to draw regular text (stdFont, boldFont,
largeFont, and largeBoldFont) are all available for Japanese on the device.
Note that the double-byte characters are not bolded, though, even if you
draw with one of the bold fonts (readability & rom space issues).

So as long as you're drawing either low-ascii or Shift-JIS text, and you're
using one of these four fonts, you should be fine.
