I sent a message to the metrowerks staff, and got a reply within a
hour (pasted below). It's too bad that they will not be supporting Palm
Development on other platforms at least in the forseeable future. They
pointed me back to Developer Support at Palm.

Unfortunately at present there are no immediate plans for a
version of CodeWarrior on Linux, BeOS or other operating systems other
than Windows and MacOS that supports Palm OS development. This may change
in the future however. You may want to direct an email to Palm Computing's
Developer Support at [EMAIL PROTECTED] since the SDK is provided by them
and they may have information regarding any possibility of porting it to
other operating system platforms.
