I've searched the Knowledge Base, the archives of this mailing list,
the newsgroups at massena.com -- surprisingly, it's not mentioned
anywhere.
How can I tell whether or not the device my app is running on has
backlight? OS version alone won't do it: I have a 5000 with Pro
upgrade.
I know I could just enqueue a backlightChr keyDown event, and the
system would automatically process or ignore this as appropriate.
However, I don't want to *toggle* the backlight state; I want to
explicitly set it. And I want to show a checkbox control if backlight
is present, and hide the control if there is no backlight.
